Connect to TeamSpeak
About three minutes the first time. You need the free TeamSpeak desktop app and a microphone.

Install TeamSpeak
Download it from teamspeak.com for Windows, macOS or Linux. Either app works with this server:
- TeamSpeak 6: the newest app, still marked beta. It may ask you to sign in with a free myTeamSpeak account.
- TeamSpeak 3: the older, stable app. No account needed.
On a phone, use the TeamSpeak 3 app from the App Store or Google Play (it may be paid) with the same address.
-
Connect
With TeamSpeak installed, press Open in TeamSpeak above. Your browser may ask to open the app; allow it. TeamSpeak opens with the address filled in.
If nothing happens, connect by hand:
- TeamSpeak 3: open Connections then Connect (Ctrl+S). Paste the address into Server Nickname or Address, type a Nickname, and click Connect.
- TeamSpeak 6: paste the address into the box at the top left and press Enter.
Leave the password empty unless the server asks for one.

Set up your microphone
Choose how others hear you: push-to-talk (hold a key while you speak) or voice activation (it transmits when you talk).
In TeamSpeak 3 this is under Tools then Options, on the Capture page: set Capture Mode and pick your microphone as the Capture Device. TeamSpeak 6 has the same choices in its settings.
If it doesn't work
Nothing happens when I press Open in TeamSpeak
TeamSpeak isn't installed yet, or the browser didn't hand the link over. Install it (step 1), then either try the button again or connect by hand as in step 2.
